I opened Tropic Htg and Air 11 years ago and have 30 years in the air conditioning trade
What is your primary product or service?
We are a Bryant Factor dealer and also a Trane dealer.
But we will service and repair all brands.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Coming out of high school I went to work with a air conditioning contractor in Neptune Beach
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are a small, strong heating and air conditioning contractor that takes pride in servicing and installing heat pumps and duct work.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
one, only the building we are in.

Coming of the Atlantic Blvd/Mayport Rd over pass we are on the west side of the road next to Napa Auto Parts
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept,Cash, Personal Checks, Visa and Master Card.
We also have financing available.
Which areas do you service?
Mainly the east side of St. Johns River. But we do go to the west side and up to Fernandina depending on the job
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Charlie Marks owns Tropic Heating and Air Conditioning and Karen Panfoeder operates the office
What are your hours of operation?
Office hours are 7:30 to 5:00 Monday thru Friday
Service hours are 8:00 to 7:00 Monday thru Friday.
We do have 24 hour emergency service
